    It must be nice not having to worry about OWLs.

    First one to find something on McLaggen gets to be 'emperor(ess) of the group' for a whole week. (With the other three being a provisional council that can technically overrule really stupid ideas by a unanimous majority) So same rules as always really.

    So we've a dementor attack where students apparently knew spells they shouldn't. Hagrid's gone and disappeared. Anything we can find out about how and why I want to know.

    Hugo and Heath? Do you think you can charm the new magical creatures professor into giving you an interview? Don't CALL it an interview, but see if you can get him talking about herself. Butter him up. Find out how he ended up here.

    Also... I think it might be worth one of us joining the IS. If they'll still take people. Working undercover is an important part of journalism and without one of us being in that obnoxious DA we don't have much of an inside scoop with either right now.

    Do you think the IS would accept me if I tried to join? I know it's a little late but I'd like your opinion before I talked to Nott, Parkinson, or the Carrows.

    I got a letter from my dad at dinner. I thought it was just going over the usual stuff for break but then he starts going on about how he's seeing someone!

    My dad doesn't date! He doesn't see people! Not once has he ever even gone on a date and now all of a sudden this? But apparently he is and he wants me to meet her and her son over the holiday! This is almost as bad as when my mum

    Do you think maybe some crazy witch has imperio'd my dad? Cause he doesn't do things like this and I think maybe she has.

    Everyone's gone all quiet since we got home. Hopefully this means everyone's busy being terrorized by their respective families in anticipation for Christmas or whatever else you celebrate.

    Should we have our own mini Christmas like the day after Christmas? We can try and buy up on sale crackers and then have a mini party?

    I've barely seen my dad since I got back. He promised he'd be home at a reasonable hour today and that he'd stay home tomorrowbut I don't think he will

    Do you think I can spend the day with your family? Just until he gets back. He said dinner time-ish. So that'll mean probably around 8 or so. Would that be okay?

    Hard to believe it's getting so close to break. I wonder if I'll even see dad Certainly a lot happening to tie up the last bit of the year.

    Not much forewarning for that Gala. I'm sure it's just going to be oodles of fun.

    I'm not sure I like the idea that I'm now required to wear a fancy dress somewhere. Do you think I'll need a date too?

    Anyone you know of that got a letter you want me to spy on in their formal wear?
